Today's Thought:
It is a common practice to do some token ablution as you enter a sacred place, Washing the feet etc. are the most common. This is notwithstanding the specious argument that it is more important to have the minds clean and pure than a mechanical observance more to be in tune with the crowd.
While it is not easy to dismiss such great "insights", it is equally important to bear in mind that such rituals have been prescribed by seers with great degree of wisdom and divine experiences.
The tear drops that swell up in your eyes either in ecstasy or in deep anguish to my mind are God's creation for ablutions (of sins) before divinity can be experienced.....
No wonder "humor" is not seriously discussed in texts as tears rolling down cheeks enjoying fantastic humor is probably a waste of this resource......and so are glycerine induced or fake tears in a TV soap. (But yes, I dare say the tears rolling down watching even this fake show is perhaps a part of a spiritual experience.... because they are not fake)
