Reflections

Today's Thought.

(I am assuming that my pet "Why are you / how are you paradigm explored in my poem in the blog has been read)

The Vedas our eternal source of knowledge is almost entirely devoted to one's welfare with SOP galore as to how to make it great . Or to borrow my term, concentrates heavily on the "how are you" theme. The final portion the "Veda antha" or the Upanishads however transcends this; clearly implying that having enjoyed all along, can you now get to the "why are you stage?" The "How are you" theme, with all its cleansing effects thru a rigorous SOP should ripen you to  take the more profound "why am I" path and get the hell out of this existence in liberation. This is the traditional thought.

Lets now get to modern times. Today's Seers are supremely confident about their knowledge and understanding of the "why am I" paradigm. In any case perhaps, they seem to feel that the "why are you" is now  a fait accomplii. Thus having understood the "why am I" stage, why not concentrate on how to make this "How am I" more and more enjoyable with much more catchy SOPs in tune with aspirations of every emerging current generation? This appears to be the most absorbing pursuit.

To be honest this has a great appeal and Mcdonald style many are "just Loving it".

Que sera sera ..... what will be, will be....

Who am I to question as to who or which path is right? Jignyaasaa seems to be my eternal quest .... the truth/wisdom will prevail but I will go on and on  for ever in search......Till He has pity and I have copious tears for ablutions.......

Enjoy folks....

Love
