Folks
I have a terrible news for you. I have suddenly developed a liking for poetry, ( mine stupid) and I actually want to write more and more. I am reminded of an ad in which a child says "oh not again" to some thing similarly boring. Since there is this universal freedom of ignoring what you are not happy with, I go ahead regardless!!!!!!
Echoing our ethos "just do it" says Nike,
Add without any expectations if you like.
But declaration of expectations in detailed form,
at the beginning of worship is the accepted norm.
Promises of plentiful bounties are quite endless
And texts claim omission of these will make worship fruitless.
Ajamila the athiest, who has no use for Him in life,
Calls his son Narayana at the throes of his death,
and lo behold, God Narayana appears in real life,
and delivers him into realisation of "nirvana" .
Many mortals like me, strive to think of Him 24X7,
just at the throes of death may fail to be even,
may go comatose, or oddly call for Raju or Pappu
He then will gleefully send you back to be born Mannu or Nannu
so that you can undergo your balance prarabda.
As Uma says, there are no guages or reports,
to measure the progress of our evolutionary purport,
but at every step of my failure, does the meter,
ever fail to let me know my metier.
In our newfound paropakaaram effort,
Bang comes an upanishadic caveat ,
You lose all credit for your worship thru help to others "thought",
the moment you think the receipient, without you is lost.
How do I deal these paradoxes with?
May be with the orthdox "faith, only faith, and nothing but faith",
By his Grace, the mind is still positive and feels realisation is not too late,
As God in His absolute compassion, knows that only our deliverance is our fate.......
When , How, and where is His Choice
But it is not "if" is the indication of Grace.

A related vichiism " A poetry a day may or may not keep the doctor away but surely the kith and kin would sprint away".
Happy sprinting.........
Love Vichu
