Today's thought
There is an old Hollywood film song : I think the actress in the film was Doris Dey. (!) "Que sera sera what will be will be......."
As I sit down to pen today's thought process occupying my mind, I am reminded of this song especially in the context of what I wrote a day before on "sanyaasah", and the general lack of even moderately adequate responses to my persistent efforts to try and browbeat everyone to "listen".
To borrow my own expression when I hear a good piece namely "let me savor it fully", perhaps you are all so overwhelmed that all of you are speechless .....and savoring every moment these great pieces of wisdom.. (There is no law preventing me from being charitable to myself!!!!)
Let me not digress further, and get back to my browbeating themes.
If "sanyaasaa" means let everything "be" (A remarkably similar theme echoed by that Hollywood song BTW) any "sankalpa" would automatically mean a disturbing of this perfect arrangement.
Thus the sarva sankalpa sanyaasi of Gita (vide the blog) makes (a) enormous sense to me and (b) frightens me and (c) even while convincing me makes me feel hopeless. Without sankalpam living becomes extremely difficult (albeit if not impossible).
Que sera sera what will be will be........I will persist with my browbeating exercise, and you will all savor it to boredom.....
May Wisdom prevail........
