Today's thought : From the Upanishad. ( more than time-pass?)
आत्मानं सततं ज्ञात्वा कालं नय महामते। प्रारब्धं अखिलं भुञ्जन्नोदवेगं कर्तुं अर्हसि ।।
O' intelligent man, knowing the self as eternal, spend your life enduring the whole of your prarabhdha without reservations.
Prarabdha is defined as those of the ripened portion of one's accumulated "karma" which has just begun, to run its course in one's current life cycle.
Imagine an archer, the arrow which has been shot is the prarabda, the ones in the quiver are the accumulated karma (sanchita) and the one which he has taken out from the quiver and aiming with His bow is the "to be acquired" Karma (aagami).
When the arrow is shot out without an "aim" one has no control as to where/or how it will go; hence if this is done, there is no escape from the outcome. Stoic endurance of this is thus suggested.
And the outcome "Prarabda" is further divided into iccha (desired) anichha (undesired) and para-ichha (desired by others).
No wonder the sages suggest/strongly advise, the need to curb both (a) the urge to pass judgment on others, and (b)thought / desire for anything other than "release from bondage".
Think it over Folks...
