Finding something to be in touch with all on a continuing basis, I guess, is the only way one can keep the ennui away..... Here I am and hope I also get adequate responses..... Ha ha ha........
1.The word "yogya" in samskrit and in a possible extension other Indian languages especially Tamil means ( to my mind) a capability. One who has "yogya" is a "yogyan" in Tamil.
When you prefix an "a" in Samskrit a contrary meaning emerges; "ayogya" should mean not capable. Ayogyan the Tamil equivalent of one who is "ayogya" means a rascal and not one who is incapable. Why?
2.The word "Brahmin" to my mind gets derived from that "brahmn"; namely who who has realized "brahmn" is a "brahmin". In other words wil we all be "abrahmins" ? It is also common knowledge that to realize the "brahmn" you need not be born Brahmin. Many of great realized saints like Vivekananda, Aurobindo, were not brahmins BTW.
