Epilogue

Jignyaasaa which starts the moment one is born is a journey which ends only after absolution with Him. So long as there is life, even for the realized soul, jignyaasaa never ceases, and the only difference between ordinary folks and this realized soul- the “jeevan Muktha”- is that the latter is always in the state of awareness of his being in absolution with Him.

It is to these seers one should look to, and seek guidance to transcend from this mundane, to the sublime state of “nirvana”, proclaims “kathopanishad”- literally meaning the tough Upanishad. The translation of the original piece goes somewhat like this:-

“having been blessed with a human birth, wake up from the slumber of ignorance, and without wasting a single moment, seek refuge of a seer to gain wisdom about your existence, as the path to realization without their help and guidance is akin to walking over a razor’s edge.”

Seers are rare to find, and it’s anybody’s guess whether one will recognize them if they are in our midst. And worse if and when they are there, they seem not to acknowledge or recognize us. The first step namely Brahma Jignyaasaa is fortunately born and hopefully this will continue…….

One is reminded of a saying “let us not look back in anger, nor forward with fear, but around in awareness”. Seers are around us, and one needs His Grace to recognize them and surrender…..

Long live Jignyaasaa……..
