Congrats to the Indian Academic community for producing yet another nobel prize winner. Indian origin surely must have something to do with it and the winner himself claims, he has not forgotten his roots and he is grateful to his teachers.
In a lighter vein, the bible does mention in the beginning that the whole 'o' the rib,not some was used to create Eve. Rib 'o' some re-search lead to Eve possibly - a confirmation for Dolly.
It is astonishing that after Dolly, the next cloned animal was possibly Ewe(?), I need to check the archives.
For all that Dr. Venkatraman may say about medical uses of the nobel winning research, cloning is going to be one of them and human cloning will surely be that next goal on the smugglers' list to heaven, until regulation catches up. That is provided that State itself doesn't provide silent sanction.
